January/February Update 2026

Greetings in the name of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.

I hope that the Lord has kept you well in the new year.

The Lord has been extremely gracious and has done good to us as a ministry over the past two months; all glory and praise to Him.

Our Saturday and Sunday Good News Clubs resumed on the 3rd and 4th January respectively, and Pastor Drew taught in all of them. All has been going well except for the inconveniences caused by the rainy season but thankful that we were able to conduct all our clubs on all days.
Our co-workers Henriata, Emma, Resty, Tina, Bruce, and all the young disciples have been helping tremendously.

We have had several classes for our disciples. All was made possible because school was on break for two and a half months.

In mid-January, we thought we had gotten a place for our learning center, but later the owner decided that she would not rent a place to us because of the children’s activities. After contacting the broker again, the Lord located a new place for us right after two days.

On 27th January, all the legal processes and payments were done, and we moved into the facility on 15th February after all the repairs and paintings were done. We are in awe of what the Lord has done and is doing. We cannot praise Him enough. Thank you so much for your continued support financially, emotionally, and in prayers. We have already purchased a few pieces of furniture and supplies to start with, dedicated the place to the Lord, had our first discipleship class, English class, and Guitar lessons. I have attached a short video clip of all these activities.

We are blessed that Pastor Drew arrived in the 25th and will help with setting up some of the things, as well as teach at our Good News clubs.

The new school term began on 10th February, and with your support, we were able to add more children to our sponsorship program, and now we have 52 altogether. We were also able to help some of our students who are not in the sponsorship program with scholastic materials.

Our ministry website ukwelichildrenbibleclubs.org is now up and running. You may please check it out for all our details or share it with anyone who would like to know more about us.

Please remember us in your prayers as we have a lot to put together for the learning center and a great need for laborers.

Also pray for one of our children, 15 year old Joseph. He last saw his dad when he was a very young boy who it is believed to have died on war in South Sudan and they have never heard about his whereabouts since.
Joseph was left in the hands of another woman who he believed to be his real mother. Recently, through various circumstances, he came to know that this woman is not his real mother. This was devastating to him and began to make sense as to why he has been treated differently from all the other children in the family.

The Lord bless you exceedingly for loving us and choosing to serve these precious children with us.
